TARDIS Plush by ciaocat TARDIS Plush by ciaocat
I've been on a bit of a Dr. Who kick since New Years, thanks to :iconqueengalux: and on a whim, Googled "Tardis." I stumbled upon this community: [link]

Well, let's just say I was inspired.

As to size, it's about foot and half tall and quite squishy. Makes a great pillow =3

This is so cool! Did you use any kind of pattern? (And if so, can I have it? :P )

So I didn't use a pattern per se, but I have a list of measurements I used when I made a more accurate one as a commission. Lol I could give you that if you wanted.

Oh bugger, I was going to get you the dimensions of the TARDIS, wasn't I?

Okay, so here's what I wrote down:

Windows were 3.3 x 3.75 inches with seam allowance.
Other small blue panels were the same. I used a half inch seam allowance for all pieces. For the flat panels, I pressed a half inch under on each side and then sewed them down, to hide the rough edges.

Main pieces were 10 x 17.25, with 2 10-inch squares for the top and bottom.
The black panel was 2 x 9.
The inner panel was 8.3 x 14.8.

My measurements are a little fudgy, honestly. I'd recommend ironing the edges of the decorative panels under, and then using some kind of basting spray, like for quilting. Less annoying than using pins. Hope this helps?

It's okay, I always take too long to respond (as you can very well see :P )

Thanks so much!
