So, what has the Cat been up to you may ask? (Or you may not; frankly, I don't care.)

For one, I am being more and more convinced of the necessity for me to write outlines of my days or I can't remember anything I've done. But, as to highlights of what has happened since October 4:

1. Found out that I may or may not have gallbladder disease. Been in varying levels of belly ache for the last 3 or so weeks, and finally was able to get into student health. My doctor gave several possible causes for my gastrointestinal woes, two of which would be taken care of by the meds I got. Now there’s just the matter of seeing how my blood tests turn out and if I have to go get an ultrasound.

2. The nurse had a little trouble actually getting my blood. As in, first she lost the vein, and then it burst, or something to that effect. So I have a happy purple bruise in the crook of my arm.

3. Am surprisingly awake for amount of sleep completed last night. Perhaps the old carcass has finally realized that it won’t be getting as much sleep as it wants and will stop bothering me about the matter.

4. Working on the thousand origami cranes again. It’ll give me something to do in lecture classes when I start going stir crazy. I wonder if you're supposed to make the wish when you're done or as you're making them?

5. Still in the academic and musical quagmire. Lack of time for creativity = yet another reason to forgo sleep.

6. Figuring out classes for next semester. All I can say is oi vey.

This has been a bland journal entry, not unlike the food I have to eat to not feel like the walking death. Or the rocking-in-the-fetal-position death. Ah well.
